Art Lab

Book me to design and facilitate a series of workshops that inspire creativity and embrace diverse perspectives through artistic expression.

  • Introduction

I guide your group in creating the art, culminating in a final exhibition that showcases your group’s message and identity

We offer a short-term series of workshops dedicated to fostering artistic expression through collaborative efforts. This program emphasizes decision-making and the integration of diverse perspectives from a group of team members, such as employees, students, or focus groups, aiming to create a singular and cohesive medium- or small-scale piece of art.

The outcome can take various forms, such as temporary exhibitions or art installations, including paintings, sculptures, performances, and more.

This program features:

  • Team building and soft skill development
  • Co-creation workshops
  • Facilitation and coaching
  • Management of materials and logistics
  • Final exhibition and celebration
  • Project example

Ung I Dag – Ovartaci Museum

In partnership with the Ovartacy Museum, I served as the artist initiator and facilitator on the project Ung I Dag, guiding the transformation of a group of young individuals’ concepts into a public exhibition.

Across several workshops spanning seven months, the group co-created an interactive art installation about youth, resilience and connection in uncertain times. The final installation called NET//VÆRK featured four walls representing Nature, Society, Present, and Future. Each wall was marked with words, inviting visitors to link them using colourful elastic threads.

By transforming the exhibition space into a dynamic social environment of shared creation, the installation offered a unique opportunity to embrace the unpredictability of the future.

Artistic Co-Creation Unites Voices, Ignites Creativity, and Builds Stronger Communities, Leaving a Lasting Positive Impact

  • Why artistic co-creation?

Artistic co-creation is a powerful tool for community building. It enables individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together, share their stories, and collaborate on creative projects that reflect their unique experiences.

Benefits: Co-creation in the artistic context offers a multitude of personal, social, and cultural benefits. It brings people together, encourages creativity, and leaves a lasting positive impact on individuals and the broader community as well the promotion of a vibrant, inclusive, and engaged environment.

The Impact of the Art Installation NET//VÆRK

With heartfelt thanks to Elina Rättö, who has thoughtfully analysed the impact of NET//VÆRK and presented her findings in two comprehensive reports.

The first report reflects on how audiences experienced and were emotionally affected by the installation. It reveals that NET//VÆRK became a collective emotional space — a quiet meeting point where visitors felt seen, heard, and less isolated in their inner landscapes.

The second report examines the impact of the project on the young people who co-created it. What emerged is a portrait of transformation: NET//VÆRK was not only an artistic process but a journey of emotional growth, social connection, and creative empowerment.
